Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PhoneParental website, apps and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use PhoneParental. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Lawful and consensual use — your responsibility

PhoneParental is sold and licensed strictly for lawful purposes: for a parent or legal guardian to look after a minor child, or for a person to monitor a device they own with the informed consent of its user. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all laws that apply to you, including laws on privacy, surveillance, wiretapping and the recording of calls and messages. Installing monitoring software on a device you do not own or are not authorised to monitor may be a criminal offence. You agree not to use the Service to stalk, harass, intimidate or unlawfully surveil any person. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, family use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law.

Subscriptions, billing and refunds

Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices may change with notice for future periods. Any refund rights are as described at the point of purchase and as required by applicable consumer law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, upload malicious code, or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaks the law.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Mobile platforms, device makers and operating-system updates can affect how features behave, and some features may stop working or change as Android evolves. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". PhoneParental is a tool to help parents stay informed; it is not a substitute for parental supervision, open conversation or professional advice, and it cannot guarantee a child's safety. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhoneParental and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PhoneParental from claims, losses and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms or of any law, including any unlawful monitoring.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity providing the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply to you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
